AmiCane is a Smart Cane for elderly people, who can use it not only as a walking aid but also to contact their caretakers in an emergency. AmiCane also has a fall detection mechanism which will alert the caretakers with a call and SMS. GPS allows caretakers to exactly locate the user.

Rising number of elderly people stay away from their children out of choice or compulsion due to their children’s jobs and career. Their children are not available to them when they are needed the most, when an emergency strikes.
