Yo! Messenger

Yo! Messenger is a communication app designed with privacy in mind, minimal data storage, and temporary content.

The application offers end-to-end encryption for messages and is designed to keep communication as short-lived and controlled as possible. Messages are stored only temporarily and are automatically deleted either after being read or after 14 days at the latest. Inactive user accounts are also removed after 14 days of inactivity.

The messenger supports individual and group chats, as well as audio and video calls via the device's phone function. Additionally, files up to 200 MB in size can be sent.

An integrated map function allows for real-time location sharing and route calculation and navigation. A Nearby feature displays contacts within a radius of approximately five kilometers, making it easier to start new conversations.

The app supports restrictions on screen recording (screenshots and screen recording) on ​​Android devices, provided this is supported by the operating system.

The app is designed for fast, direct, and privacy-conscious communication.
