SA HIV/TB Hotline

The SA HIV/TB Hotline Chrome extension provides healthcare workers in South Africa with easy, offline access to the latest HIV and tuberculosis information. Developed by the National HIV & TB Health Care Worker Hotline at the University of Cape Town, this tool offers comprehensive features such as simultaneous drug interaction checks for ARVs and essential medicines, management algorithms for adverse drug reactions including rash, kidney, and liver injury, and resources on drug-resistant TB. Users can also access national and Western Cape guideline posters covering TB and ART management for adults and children, prevention protocols like PMTCT, PEP, PrEP, plus shareable and printable NDOH algorithms as per national health guidelines. Funded by the NDOH, this extension supports informed clinical decision-making with up-to-date HIV/TB information available whenever needed, even offline.
