Phrasely

Phrasely is the simplest way to drill bilingual phrases on your Android phone. Type or paste pairs of phrases - English on one side, any foreign language on the other - organize them into categories, and run short randomized practice sessions whenever you have a minute.

KEY FEATURES

- Local-first, fully offline. Your phrases never leave your device. No login, no account, no cloud sync - just a private flashcard collection that's yours alone.

- Multi-language. Each category has its own foreign-language tag, so you can practice Spanish in the morning and Polish in the evening. Built-in text-to-speech reads the foreign side using your device's TTS engine.

- Random practice. Pick a number of phrases (5, 10, 20, all, or custom) and Phrasely shuffles a session for you. Tap to reveal the other side; rate Right or Wrong if you want, or just tap through.

- Bulk import. Have a list of phrases? Paste them all at once with one phrase pair per line. Phrasely flags duplicates and malformed lines so you can clean them up before importing.

- Local backup. Export your full library to a JSON file via the system file picker; import on another device or after a reset.

- Streak tracking. Optional daily-practice streak counter - only counts up when you reveal a card, never artificial.

PRIVACY

Phrasely stores all data locally. No ads, no analytics, no accounts - nothing leaves your device unless you export a backup yourself. Read the full privacy policy at https://phrasely.pages.dev/.
