Review summary

Users like minube for researching trips, finding activities/places, organizing photos and creating travel goals. However multiple reviewers report major issues: offline maps/guides fail to download, frequent loading/crash/server errors, persistent notifications/background activity, and account/login problems — these technical and reliability problems frequently overshadow the app’s useful planning features.

Pros

Useful for researching and planning travel destinations
Provides information on activities, food and lodging — a handy travel guide
Organizes trip photos and memories
Helps create travel goals/itineraries and is helpful for first-time visits

Cons

Offline maps/guides often fail to download or hang; offline positioning is limited
Stability and connectivity problems: infinite loading, crashes and server errors reported
Persistent or intrusive push notifications and background activity that users say can’t be turned off
Account/login/registration problems (emails already exist, can’t sign in)

Nice app to research travel locations.

Ni he podido entrar. Chapuza.

Landscape mode is needed for tablet use

It would be perfect to use the app offline and to add possibility to generate kml file to use with any offline map.... Edit 1yr after : Fews changes but we can't get a proper offline map with your own position, we can't put more than a list on a unique map w/o manual tricks Ccl : I don't think the team doesn't put effort where it should, social stuff & challenge popups are now polluting the experience.. It sadly doesn't get better despite the strong potential that it has 2yrs later : nothing has change, 1 star then

app is good but unable to download offline map data , it froze in mid of download , kindly sort out this issue

cannot download the offline guides, it hangs on after a while...

good

help a lot when you visit a place for the first time

First they ask to access ALL your photos, even private ones. That's a bad privacy violation. Then the app automatically builds photo album about places where we've been (all, no possibility to select, it means giving all gps data to them, without having an account!) and after creating an account, these albums disappear. Where is my data now? Stored with no name? Then it asks to review places which I never heard. A well-done review takes time and time is money. Not to mention if we add good photos of the place. They ask this service for free, or better, in change of "the chance" of wining 200$ in travel services. Which is nothing. Not least, the app continuously run in background, sucking resources and energy for nothing. I receive frequent notifications of it from the system. I'm sorry, but I don't understand the utility and benefits, maybe I'm missing something? Be careful before giving your data for nothing!

Muy buena app para viajes y vlogs
