Review summary
Pros
- Well-designed idle gameplay that allows playing in the background with a good sense of progression.
- Fun dungeon crawler with deep, but not overly complex mechanics and customizable UI.
- Fair monetization without aggressive paywalls or heavy cash shops.
- Free respecs allow experimentation with team builds and strategies.
- Engaging tournament and competition system with leaderboards.
Cons
- Game can be overly idle with minimal player control during runs, leading to boredom for some players.
- The progression is grindy and slow, with too few quests and upgrades available at a slow pace.
- Some bugs reported, such as party members being culled or upgrades not saving properly, causing frustration.
- Requires online connectivity for daily, weekly, and tournament quests; offline play is limited or buggy.
- Lack of tutorial or clear in-game guidance makes initial learning curve steeper without external help.

| 2024-11-05 | Compared to the other older game, this developer created. This is a more watered down, blank, boring idle game. | ||

| 2024-09-21 | It's neat, like this dev's other games. The initial experience was a little rough, especially because the menus are a little weird compared to other games. But if you have patience for that or don't mind going to a discord server to learn, it's a neat game to open once a day or so. Which is a problem when you start with an hour of accruable offline time. Even clickpocalypse started you with more! But you can weaponize chickens here and fight the bovine menace. 🐔>🐮 Chickens are important! | ||

| 2024-08-26 | I've enjoyed all of this dev's games. ImpDun is kind of a combination of the others and feels like it has the greatest potential. It's definitely worth a look, but here are some criticisms: 1) There's just not enough to do during runs. It's a little *too* idle. 2) It's extremely grindy, has too few quests, and is slow to dole out meaningful upgrades. 3) I miss the overworld and flavor text from Clickocalypse 2. The dungeons look better here, but lack context. Things blur together a bit too much. | ||

| 2024-05-01 | lower res than Clickpocalypse 2, no more silly useful achievements, more complex skill and advancement sys. unfortunately not really 100% playable offline like Clikpo2.the UI for "Continue" from the previous run kinda bugs out and forgets that you had a dungeon run going from previous savegame,IF you're not constantly online to sync your app's time.Daily, Weekly and Tournament quests also require the app to be online to start and get rewards. | ||

| 2024-03-15 | Fun idler, very annoying bug where when returning to the game it will usually decide to cull every member of your party past the 4th, typically fine when you're often restarting anyway to daily/weekly quests but bad when you're in the master middle of a tourney run and need to repurchase every character after the 4th. Hard to imagine I'm the only person with this problem but the game hasn't been patched in many months. | ||

| 2023-11-22 | Incremental Idle that can progress offline. It's team compositions and competitions that auto play for you. You set up a team with the rewards you've acquired and check in for more points versus the leaderboards to strengthen your teams. You just don't have to much to do of actual playing. | ||

| 2023-09-04 | I liked the game, and even paid to remove ads and get a DP increase. I wanted to try to reach the highest tournament level, and, after a lot of patience and slow grinding, I finally did. Once there, despite reaching floor 370, I was 14th (last) place in my first Expert tournament, got demoted, and decided, you know what? I think I've seen all this game has to offer anyway. I'm satisfied with quitting now instead of becoming obsessed. Would recommend, but you should know when to stop playing. | ||

| 2023-08-24 | fantastic dungeon grinder🤩 deep, but not overly complex. clean and customizable ui. encourages experimenting with infinite free respecs. fun tournament system and different game modes. all while fairly monetized. very rare to find mobile game nowadays. thanks👍 | ||
