Minimalu: App Blocker & Focus

Stop doomscrolling. Block apps, cut distractions, reduce screen time and stay focused — without willpower.

Minimalu is a featherweight minimalist launcher and app blocker with mindful pause gates and daily screen time limits. It replaces your noisy, notification-packed home screen with a calm, distraction-free clock and only the apps you consciously choose.

Unlike heavy launchers packed with trackers, Minimalu is built for a real digital detox: about 1 MB, 100% offline privacy, and a true-black interface.

Try everything free for 3 days, no account or card needed. After that, a subscription or one-time purchase is required — the app says so before you start.

WHY MINIMALU IS DIFFERENT
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

1. 100% OFFLINE PRIVACY (ZERO TRACKING)
No account, no ads, no telemetry, no tracking SDKs. Your screen time stats, app limits, and personal habits stay strictly on your device. Minimalu never transmits your private data.

2. FEATHERWEIGHT (ABOUT 1 MB)
At about 1 MB, Minimalu is a fraction of the size of ordinary launchers. Opens fast and stays out of your way — a tiny app with no background network activity.

3. TAMPER-RESISTANT LIMITS
Other app blockers fail because you can bypass them by changing your phone clock. Minimalu pairs elapsed timers with reboot detection and clock-jump guards, so changing the system clock or rebooting does not undo your limits.

4. MINDFUL INTENTION GATES
Break the dopamine loop before it starts — the productivity boost you feel the same day. When you tap a distracting app, Minimalu pauses you:
[ 5 min ] [ 15 min ] [ 30 min ] [ No limit ]
When your time ends, it gently closes the app and asks: "Did you get what you needed?"

5. TRUE-BLACK INTERFACE
Minimalu's pure-black (#000000) interface turns off OLED pixels, which can reduce screen power use. Its background checks pause while the screen is off.

6. BESPOKE HARDWARE AESTHETIC
Designed with a clean Ring Clock, live date formatting, and double-tap-to-lock.

FAIR & HONEST MONETIZATION
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

• 3-Day Free Trial, stated upfront: set up your home screen and feel the difference. One reminder before it ends, no surprises.
• Low Pricing: live prices from Google Play in your currency. Cancel anytime in Google Play.
• Never stranded: if access ends, calls, messages and Settings stay one tap away.

ACCESSIBILITY DISCLOSURE: Minimalu uses the AccessibilityService API to enforce the app blocks and screen-time limits you set for yourself and, if you turn it on, to lock the screen when you double-tap the clock. It reads only which app opens (package name); it never reads screen content or keystrokes and collects nothing — all processing stays on your device. Runs only while blocking is on; disable anytime in settings.

NOW IN YOUR LANGUAGE: fully translated into English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil) and Lithuanian. Per-app launch style lets you choose which apps open directly and which ask first.
