HearThere

HearThere is a music journal that remembers not just WHAT you listened to, but WHERE.

Every song you play becomes a memory pinned to a place. Walk past that café again months later, and HearThere gently reminds you: "You listened to this song here."

✦ CHRONOLOGY — A beautiful timeline of your listening life: every track, the place you heard it, even the weather that day.

✦ MAP OF MEMORIES — Your places appear as golden stars on a night map. The more you listen somewhere, the brighter it shines.

✦ NOSTALGIA NOTIFICATIONS — When you return to a place where you once listened to music, HearThere resurfaces the track that belongs to that moment. Your daily-routine places are automatically excluded, so only meaningful returns count.

✦ WORKS WITH ANY PLAYER — Play the music on your phone in HearThere's own player, or grant Notification Access and let it journal what you play in Spotify, YouTube Music, or any other app.

✦ PRIVATE BY DESIGN — Your entire journal lives on your device. No account, no cloud, no analytics. Nothing you listen to ever leaves your phone.

✦ STATS, SMART PLAYLISTS & EQUALIZER — Your Year in Review, mood-based playlists that match the moment, and a full equalizer. All included.

Available in English, Romanian, German, French, Spanish and Italian.

HearThere asks for location permission (including background location) for one reason only: to pin your listens to places and wake up when you return to them. Your location history is stored only on your device.
