Heel - Dog Tracking & Training

Heel is a field tool for dog handlers - including working and military K9 teams - that works where there is no signal.

RECORD TRACKS
• GPS-record mantrailing and blood-tracking tracks, training or deployment.
• Live distance, time, and GPS-accuracy readout; mark articles, turns, and finds.
• Background recording keeps logging with the screen off.

HAND OFF A TRACK (offline)
• Lay a track, export it as a .heel file, and share it any way you like.
• The other handler imports it and runs the exact route - then compares laid vs. run with a closeness score. No account, no cloud required.

REVIEW & MAP
• Replay tracks on the map, with history and per-dog stats.

SEE YOUR WHOLE TEAM, LIVE - ANYWHERE
• See your whole team's position on the map, live, wherever they have a data connection - direct phone-to-phone, no server, ever. Send a teammate a one-time invite through your own messaging app and you're connected.
• No signal in the field? A same-network / hotspot mode covers training areas with no signal at all - same privacy, zero setup.

PLAN THE WATCH
• Duty rosters: tell Heel the hours, the posts and who is on the list, and it builds a fair rotation - honouring handover time and the people who need unbroken rest. Share it as text, as an image, or as a file another handler can open and edit.

WRITE IT UP
• Report templates: build the form your unit actually uses - a 7S-style find report, your fields, your order - and Heel fills in the time, the place and your name for you. Attach the dog's finds as the report's findings and send the whole thing as text.

MORE THAN TRACKING
• Training log: obedience, protection, detection sessions with scored exercises.
• Operational/deployment records with CSV export for record-keeping.
• Health & admin: weight, vaccinations, medications, certifications, equipment - with renewal reminders.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
• Local-first: your data stays on your device. Delete everything anytime.
