Random Picker

Random Picker is a random name picker with three modes: a list draw that never repeats an entry, a ladder game that matches everyone one to one, and a roulette wheel you spin.
Type or paste your entries one per line, tap Draw, and the shuffle happens on your phone.

List draw, without repeats
• Enter items one per line and pick between 1 and 50 of them
• A name that has already come out never comes out again in the same draw
• Ask for more picks than you have entries and the draw stops with a message instead of quietly repeating someone
• Results fade in one card at a time, numbered in the order they were drawn
• "Draw again" reshuffles the same list, so nothing has to be retyped

Ladder game, always one to one
• Enter 2 to 12 participants plus the outcomes they can land on
• The app builds a random ladder and draws it on screen
• Tap a name and the path is traced down the ladder, rung by rung, to its outcome
• Two participants can never land on the same outcome and no outcome is left unused — the matching is one to one every time
• Fewer outcomes than participants? The remaining slots are filled with "Nothing" so the two columns always match
• "Reveal all" opens the whole table at once when nobody wants to wait their turn

Roulette
• Add 2 to 20 items and each becomes a sector on the wheel
• Spin it, watch it slow down, and the item under the pointer is the one that was chosen
• The result stays hidden until the wheel has fully stopped, so nothing is spoiled early
• The wheel is drawn by the app itself and stays sharp on any screen size

Saved lists for the groups you use often
• Save the entries currently on screen under a name, then load them back in any of the three modes
• Saving under a name that already exists updates that list instead of creating a duplicate
• Delete a single saved list from the load dialog, or clear all of them from Settings

Why the app asks for nothing
Random Picker declares no Android permissions. No location, contacts, storage, camera, microphone or notification access appears anywhere, and there is no account to create and nothing to sign in to. Every draw is shuffled on the device, so the names you type never leave your phone; only the ad SDK uses the network. Saved lists are kept in a database on the device, and automatic backup is switched off, which means they are never copied to Google Drive. That is good for privacy, but it also means there is no cloud sync: change phones or uninstall the app and your saved lists do not come with you.

Setting the running order at a club meeting, choosing today's presenter or the cleaning duty in a classroom, splitting a group into teams, settling on where to eat, assigning seats, working out who fetches the coffee, or letting a child see who goes first in a game.

Free, with a one-time upgrade
Everything above is free, supported by a small banner on the home screen and an occasional full-screen ad. That ad appears at most once every five draws, never less than a minute after the last one, and only once the result animation has finished — an ad never covers the moment a result appears. If you would rather not see any, "Remove ads" is a single purchase of $2.99, not a subscription, and turns every ad off permanently. It is the only thing sold in the app, and no mode is locked behind it.
