I subscribed to the most basic content to try the app out and suddenly I got a payment alert of about 70 US dollars from AYAPATH without any notice, supposedly for a product that I am not even aware ai had subscribed to!. There is no transparency here and subscribers need to exercise caution in dealing with this app. Its a disappointment especially because it is coming from a religious angle!

I request Google Play to investigate this app, review its billing practices, help affected users get refunds, and remove the app if it violates Play Store policies.

They use Allah's religion to trap, deceive and cheat unsuspecting Muslims who genuinely seek a medium that would lead them closer to their Creator! Alas, the outfit and its partners have mastered all the false-pretense tricks Shaytan can design. Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam, beware of the AshaytanPath!

What makes this worse is that AyahPath is not even run by an Islamic organization; it is owned by a London-based commercial app developer called Gismart, run by a non-Muslim CEO. They are capitalizing on people trying to connect with the Quran, charging exorbitant fees for basic info you can find on Wikipedia for free.
