Memorem

Memorem is an app not originally intended for general public release. It was designed and developed as a very personal project, to allow it's creator to send & receive 100% private video & audio messages securely like never before! Now, the app is totally available for anyone to download, install and use for FREE!

Memorem provides a platform for sending unlimited temporary and permanent messages. It's perfect for quick, short personal updates/messages or longer, heartfelt keepsakes and special occasions. Memorem users can schedule future dates for playback of messages, ensuring total privacy until the designated date is reached. All messages within Memorem are encrypted. Absolutely no messages can be copied or shared. Also, for 100% complete control, all messages sent to other users within Memorem can be securely removed at anytime. That includes all messages sent within the app. (Yes! That is correct, even after you've sent a message to another user. If you decide you no longer want to share that message with them, you can permanently delete it at any time in the future!)

Memorem also allows users to upload 'pre-recorded' video/audio files and send those through the app, instead of creating their own brand new message using the app. However, to guarantee 100% privacy & security, after you've sent a pre-recorded message file, and it has been successfully received, it is highly recommended the original file is then securely deleted. This is to avoid having any unencrypted copies existing elsewhere on your device, and guarantees no unauthorised access to that file. Users can also add password protection to any message they send, for added security if desired.

Memorem users have 100% control of every single one of their messages. The app ensures end-to-end encryption for 100% private and secure exchange of video/audio messages, with no unauthorized access possible. Nobody else has access to any personal Memorem messages, and nothing is monitored or copied. Unlike most other messaging services that collect data from your personal messages, location, files and even your contacts! Not even the Memorem administrators, creator or developer can access any messages or any other data on your device. Memorem guarantees that absolutely none of your personal data is monitored, collected or shared with any 3rd parties, and only uses your name, uploaded profile photo, email address and mobile number for functions within the app, to make it work. Memorem does not require any access to your contacts or your location, and it will never make or monitor, any of your personal phone calls or SMS messages etc. Also, your Memorem account can be deleted whenever you want.

The regular 'Free' version of Memorem contains adverts, which help with the running costs. There is an option of making a small 'one-time' only payment to upgrade to Memorem 'Premium' which contains no adverts. Not only does the 'Premium' version of Memorem contain absolutely no adverts, and is free to use forever, but it also allows users unlimited archiving too. (The 'Free' version of Memorem has a limit of 50 messages). All 'one-time' only payments are handled outside of the app by your chosen play store. Memorem does not handle any of your data during this process.
