Forty-Nine Solitaire is a challenging four-color patience game for players who like to think.

Deal out the board and build all four foundations from Ace to King. Work down the seven tableau columns in alternating colors, free up buried cards, and use the reserve to set up the moves you need. It looks simple. It isn't — Forty-Nine is a genuinely hard solitaire that rewards planning several moves ahead.

NEVER GET STUCK ON A DEAD DEAL
Most solitaire games happily deal you hands that can't be won. Forty-Nine has a built-in solvability checker: switch on "Only possible games" and the app actually solves each deal before you play it, so every hand you start is guaranteed winnable. If you lose, it's on you — not the shuffle.

STUCK? ASK FOR A HINT
Turn on hints and the game points you to the next move on the winning line — which card to take and where it goes. Follow along as far as you like; stray
from the solution and the hints quietly step aside until you undo back onto the path. A great way to learn the game, or just to get unstuck.
