Medipal helps you as a patient to follow the effect of a prescribed treatment by answering questions in your mobile phone at certain times. It increases the medication (adherence) for a desired therapeutic outcome and provides you and the health care provider care, and studies, a relevant basis of your health status over time and a support for decision-making on your care.

Medipal helps you and your healthcare provider to follow the effect of a prescribed treatment by looking at your answers. The questions can relate to how you have experienced different symptoms, how you feel or what mood you are in, and about other factors that has an affect which are important to follow-up during, for instance, a drug treatment over time.

Once you have answered the questions on your mobile phone, your answers are immediately sent to the caregiver, i.e. your doctor, nurse, psychologist or physiotherapist, and can be looked at via Medipal’s healthcare portal. Through your compiled answers, they can see easy-to-read graphs and trend-lines and then be able to better evaluate the effect of the prescribed treatment. At the same time, they can study the relationships between the variables and see how other symptoms, such as pain, fatigue, sleep, mental illness, stress, affect you and your treatment. This means that they can act faster and become more proactive by being able to read off the possible effects of your treatment.

Your caregiver chooses for you, or together with you, your customized questions depending on your illness, also how often and when to you need to answer them. In this way, you can for example report everyday how you have felt during the treatment period and don't have to remember everything in detail the next time you meet or talk to your caregiver. Medipal also helps to remind you to answer the questions at the right time and when to take the medicine. Everything will be registered in Medipal.

Medipal is user-friendly and can be used independently of diagnosis. Medipal has been used during a long time by people from 8 years to 90 years.
