GearForge

Offline mechanical gear ratio speed modeler, tire scaler, and power converter.

Overview

Features & Capabilities

Welcome to GearForge – the high-performance, zero-permission drivetrain analysis and mechanical calculation matrix engineered specifically for automotive enthusiasts, track-day racers, and DIY garage mechanics who require reliable computational tracking entirely offline.

GearForge packs four specialized mechanical and drivetrain calculation engines onto a clean, single-viewport dashboard panel. Map out gear speeds, evaluate physical tire dimensional offsets, and convert power metrics instantly without relying on active cellular networks or external telemetry data.

🔒 100% OFFLINE & PRIVATE (ZERO PERMISSIONS)
GearForge runs on a strict, local-first computing framework. The application deliberately excludes the Android Internet Permission (android.permission.INTERNET) from its manifest and requests zero hardware permissions. Your dimensional inputs, ratio parameters, and mechanical metrics are processed entirely within volatile device system memory and never leave your hardware.

🚀 FOUR CORE MECHANICAL ENGINES

1. GEAR RATIO SPEED MODELER
Cross-reference your transmission configurations with real-world speeds. Input your tire diameter, engine RPM limit, individual gear ratios, and final drive ratio. The engine immediately outputs the exact maximum speed possible in each gear, allowing you to optimize shift points.

2. TIRE SIZE DIMENSIONAL SCALER
Compare tire profiles to analyze physical fitment and speedometer changes. Input original tire specifications alongside a proposed size. The calculation engine instantly isolates physical diameter variances, sidewall heights, width deltas, and resulting speedometer error percentages.

3. TORQUE-TO-HORSEPOWER MATRIX
Convert rotational force into true performance output. Input engine torque values along with corresponding rotational speeds. The engine processes the equations instantly to calculate estimated mechanical brake horsepower.

4. ENGINE DISPLACEMENT AGGREGATOR
Compute total displacement parameters mathematically. Input cylinder bore size, piston stroke length, and the total cylinder count. The engine resolves the geometric parameters to output exact engine displacement in cubic centimeters (cc) and Liters.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
GearForge is a mathematical simulation and mechanical reference utility. All calculations are approximations based strictly on user-supplied manual inputs. These outputs do not substitute for official dynamometer reports, vehicle manufacturer factory specifications, certified diagnostic testing equipment, or real-world road tests. The mechanical operator holds absolute responsibility for safety verification.
