The extension pairs with a Wear OS companion app so you can control timers on your wrist, record heart rate during sessions, review heart-rate zones and calories, and transfer saved timers to train without a phone. Privacy-friendly and offline-first: no registration, no ads, no internet required and all data stored locally. Note: some Android devices (e.g., Huawei, Xiaomi, Samsung, OnePlus) require disabling aggressive battery optimization for reliable background timing. Overall very good app, some of the interface like for copying/pasting intervals could be improved imo but actually using the timer is pretty much perfect for my use case (interval/fartlek running workouts). I do kinda wish the free version let u save even 1 workout so you could set it up the day before but there's not really any intrusive ads so maybe a necessary evil.
