Signal Info (formerly Fi Info) is a companion app for Google Fi users

• it allows you to see and keep track of which network you're connected to (Wi-Fi, Sprint, Three, T-Mobile, US Cellular), and at which speed (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G etc).

Pros

Helps track network connections and switch carriers as needed.
Convenient to have dialer codes in one place.
Responsive developer addressing user feedback.
Functional widget (if working) that provides quick access to network info.

Cons

Recent updates have removed the widget, frustrating many users.
Inconsistent reporting of SSID and network type (e.g., showing 4G when on 5G).
Foreground service occasionally disables itself.
A constant notification is seen as less useful compared to a widget.

Recent reviews

The foreground service tab has to be reset about once a week or so. Not sure why it turns off. Other than that, works great to know which network you're on with Fi. Especially helpful to know when to switch if you know your local towers.
