Features & Capabilities

KOREK is the mobile application of the Mauritius National Authentication Framework, rebranding MauPass. It provides secure access to MauPass services, personal data from authorised government systems, and driving licence details for eligible users (18+). It also shows driving licence penalty points and historical infractions.

Real-time data retrieval uses approved government interfaces via the Integrated Driver Licence Management System (IDLMS). Note: the information displayed is informational only and not a digital licence yet. Data security and privacy are priorities: data is accessed through trusted government systems, not stored unnecessarily on the device, and the app complies with applicable data protection and auditing requirements. MauPass has been renamed to KOREK.
