Our localized, live events will get you out in the community and allow you to experience local hot spots with a new, special someone by your side. By matching you with other singles in your neighbourhood in person, MateMachine Events encourages you to seize the moment, join in the fun, and try loving someone.

Singles Events balance the convenience and safety of app-backed dating while encouraging you to connect in real life. At singles events, you’ll be matched with other attendees and given access to a temporary messaging system. This system encourages you to take action and find meaningful connections by meeting up in person before the event ends. If the first match doesn’t work for you, join in on the next round and meet the next match!

Live Profile Photos: At events, you’ll be asked to take a selfie of yourself on the day of the event. This ensures that you can find people in the crowd, and your photos are always immediately representative of your current look.

Participating in singles events requires having an event token. We provide your first token FREE so you can try out an event with no strings attached. You can keep using your FREE token until you find a match! After your first match, if you decide to meet up with more matches and join in new events, each token costs $9.99, which is a savings of ~$40 compared to other local speed dating events.

Participating in more events gives you more chances to mingle in the local community and find your perfect match.

If you choose to purchase event tokens, your Google account will be charged. You can view your available tokens in the app. If we are unable to provide you with a match for a given event, your token for that event will be credited back to your account. Tokens can be used at any event on any day. Once purchased, tokens cannot be refunded.
