QuickSell gives an estimate, not an appraisal or a formal valuation. It is a well-informed starting point for pricing something yourself — not a guarantee of what an item will sell for, and it should not be relied on for insurance, tax, probate, or anything where a certified valuation is legally required. Rare, antique, and collectable items in particular can be worth far more, or far less, than a general resale value estimate suggests, and a specialist is the right call for anything you suspect is unusual.
