bought and used menards inspection camera for the first time today. this review covers the software, and the hardware. the software is fine. nothing fancy, does what it needs to do. annoying that i cant download files from the app directly to my camera roll (android) but thats a minor complaint. i had no trouble connecting my phone to the device the hardware is great actually. durable, 640x480 resolution which is not great but workable. for $80 this was a fine buy👍

Ensure your normal wifi connections are not set to auto reconnect...that was the issue for me. The camera might work for a few seconds and then stop working as the phone auto-reconnected the internet wifi and disabled the wifi connection for the device.
