Joker

Joker - a tapping game set on a theatre stage where a large jester mask sits in the middle of the screen and every tap on it adds points to the counter above. The first tap is worth one point, and the plate under the counter always shows the current per tap figure and the current per second figure. Points are put into three upgrade lines: tap power raises how much a single tap gives, auto score adds a steady per second flow that keeps counting while the stage is open, and stage decor fills the empty sides of the stage with new props while lifting the strength of both other lines by a share. Every line has its own level, its own price and its own step of growth, and the price climbs with each level taken, so the order in which the lines are raised shapes how fast the counter moves. A round is built around a goal: the plate above the lower button shows the round number, the filled percent and a gauge that grows as points come in. There is no timer and no fail state, a round simply ends when its goal is met, and then a summary appears with the final score, the split between tap points and passive points, the number of taps made and an extra handful of points added to the counter. The summary also marks the moment the best result across all rounds is passed. From the summary the next round starts at once or the game returns to the menu, and each new round sets a higher goal than the previous one while all upgrade levels and the point counter stay untouched. Progress is kept on the device, so the counter, the three upgrade levels, the props unlocked on the stage, the current round and the best result are all loaded again on the next launch. The menu screen shows the best result reached so far and holds the entry into play and the exit from the game, the upgrade screen opens from the main screen and returns back with a single tap, and the whole game runs full screen in portrait with no sound and no network.
