Masjid Connects turns any Android tablet into a dedicated, contactless donation kiosk for your masjid or Islamic center. Mount it in the lobby, pair it once with the Masjid Connects CMS, and start accepting card and contactless donations in seconds — no cash, no paperwork, no fumbling.

Built for the lobby, not the office. The interface is bilingual (English and Arabic), tablet-sized, and locks down into kiosk mode so the device stays focused on a single job: collecting donations cleanly and reverently.

• Contactless card payments: Powered by Stripe Terminal and a Bluetooth card reader. Donors tap, dip, or swipe — no app downloads, no QR scans, no friction.
• Bilingual interface (English / Arabic): Every screen is fully translated and right-to-left aware so the experience feels native to your community.

• Designed for kiosk use: Locks to the donation flow, stays awake, recovers from sleep cleanly, and survives the realities of an unattended lobby tablet.

• Quick-pick amounts and custom amounts: Donors can choose suggested amounts or enter their own. Optional categories (zakat, sadaqah, building fund, etc.) are configurable from the admin dashboard.

• Receipts on the spot: Donors can enter an email at the end of a transaction to receive a digital receipt, or skip it for true tap-and-go giving.

• Real reader lifecycle handling: The app handles reader disconnects, low battery, firmware updates, and Bluetooth hiccups gracefully so volunteers aren't troubleshooting hardware on Friday.

— WHAT YOU NEED —

• An Android tablet (we recommend 10" or larger, mounted in the lobby)
• A Stripe M2 card reader
• A Stripe account connected through your Masjid Connects''s admin dashboard

— HOW IT WORKS —

1. Your masjid administrator provisions the device from the admin dashboard and generates a pairing code.
2. Open Masjid Connects on the tablet, scan the pairing QR (or enter the code).
3. Connect a supported Stripe Terminal Bluetooth reader.
4. Mount the tablet, plug in power, and start collecting donations.

— PRIVACY & SECURITY —

Card data never touches the tablet. All payments are processed through Stripe Terminal, which is PCI-validated and handles the card data end-to-end. The kiosk only sees the result of the transaction.
