CAN-View for Tesla

CAN-View for Tesla reads Tesla CAN bus data for advanced vehicle diagnostics over a Bluetooth OBD-II adapter. One app covers Model S/X and Model 3/Y lines — choose the platform that matches your car and work in an interface built for that generation.

SIGNAL COVERAGE
• Model S/X line: 3,000+ decoded CAN signals (3,036 in the bundled MSX value-description dictionary; the live signal catalog is downloaded for your account and may include additional IDs).
• Model 3/Y lines: 2,350+ decoded CAN signals per M3Y profile (2,350 in the bundled M3Y dictionary).
• Raw frames are decoded with platform-specific signal dictionaries, scaling, and enum labels where defined — so you see names and values, not only hex bytes.

GETTING STARTED
• Sign in with a MASCorp Diagnostics service account.
• On “Select vehicle platform”, pick Model S/X, Model 3/Y, Model S/X 2021+, or Model 3/Y 2021+ (2021+ Model 3/Y includes on-screen LFP battery context where that workflow applies).
• Pair a Bluetooth OBD-II adapter (ELM327 / STN-class; the app recommends OBDLink MX+ for reliable operation — other adapters may work but are not verified).

ECU BLOCKS & SUB-BLOCKS
• Live parameters are organized by vehicle ECU blocks (for example BMS, DI, Thermal, Gateway, ChargePort, Display, FrontController, and more — the list depends on your platform and profile).
• Open a block to see its live parameter list (sub-block / tab view): decoded signals stream for that ECU group.
• A dedicated “Errors and CAN diagnostics” entry lets you open fault-oriented views for the selected block alongside ordinary parameters.

DIAGNOSTIC ERRORS & ALARMS
• Block-level diagnostic screens show active alarm-style signals for the ECU you are viewing.
• Values update in real time while the OBD session is running, with human-readable signal names from the dictionary.
• Use this view together with the parameter list to correlate faults with live CAN data on the same block.

BATTERY BRICK VOLTAGE (BMS)
• Where your profile supports it, a brick voltage grid shows per-cell voltages from the pack.
• Cells are color-coded (high / mid / low vs. pack maximum) so outliers stand out quickly.
• Tap a brick to open a voltage chart for that cell over time.
• Layout adapts to the platform (including module-grouped grids on Model S/X where applicable).

CUSTOM PARAMETERS
• Build your own live parameter set: pick signals from the catalog, order them, and stream only what you need.
• Save layouts on the device for repeat workshops or road tests.
• Start and stop live decoding independently of the main ECU block screens.

WIDGET DASHBOARD
• Arrange favorite signals on a personal dashboard with live numeric readouts and charts.
• Pin, resize, and organize widgets for at-a-glance monitoring while you work.
• Ideal for keeping a small set of critical values visible without scrolling long block lists.

ALSO INCLUDED
• Light and dark theme across the unified shell and diagnostic modules.
• Software license and privacy policy links in Settings.
• No Google Play in-app billing in this package.

REQUIREMENTS
• Active MASCorp Diagnostics account and internet access to download profiles and dictionaries.
• Bluetooth OBD adapter paired with your phone; the vehicle does not need its own Internet connection for live CAN viewing.
