SIM LAIT

SIM LAIT is a data collection application for the Ministry of Livestock and Animal Production as part of the Sustainable Development Project for Pastoral Farms in the Sahel (PDEPS). It allows users, i.e. actors around the project and the Milk Sector with their different profiles (agent, breeder, producer, collector, trader, processor) to upload data from their different dairy units (collection center, processing center, production center, kiosk).
the focus is on setting up a Milk price collection mechanism to allow information sharing on the evolution of Milk prices and production across the country. This system will also aim to encourage multi-actor dialogue, to promote the development of synergies and partnerships with the aim of making the best use of available resources and pooling efforts.
