Marungko Reading Assessment

An interactive mobile application designed to support beginning readers in learning Filipino through the Marungko Approach. The application integrates Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) technology to evaluate learners' pronunciation and reading performance in real time.

The app provides lessons on Filipino letters, syllables, words, and reading passages while allowing children to read aloud and receive immediate feedback. Through ASR-based assessment, the system analyzes reading accuracy, pronunciation, and fluency, helping learners identify areas that need improvement. The application also records assessment results and tracks reading progress over time, enabling teachers and parents to monitor learner development.
