Aurora is built different: your home is arranged in spaces, that can go as minimal as you want them to be, and that you can use for a single activity or moment in your every day.

Instead of burying you in endless lists of icons, Aurora organizes them into moods: Work, Focus, Social, Evening… You decice. Each with its own color, feel, and handpicked apps. You swipe between moods to match your context, not your impulses.

Built on a simple idea: your attention deserves better than being fragmented by your phone. Your phone is a tool that serves you, not the other way around.

Key Features:
1. Mood-Based Navigation
- Organize your apps into moods like Morning, Workday, Brain work, or Rest.
- Each mood shows a central app with up to four apps orbiting it. You can go as low as One single app per space.
- You can also add a widget to each mood, but we don't recommend it: Aurora is designed for your mind to relax, not look at data!

2. Gesture-Driven Experience
- Swipe left or right to move between moods.
- Hold the wallpaper to view all moods in an elegant overview.
- Swipe up to open a search drawer.

- Instead of browsing icons, type what you need: Aurora requires intent.

4. Smart Notifications (Optional)
- Aurora can make icons glow softly to show unread notifications. No badges, no noise.
- Notification access is optional, processed entirely on your device.

- Choose between a minimalist and distraction-free black sky, or customize your own Aurora sky with stars, meteors, gas clouds, and more.

- Deliberate phone usage. You open what matters, when it matters. Aurora is intentionally “inconvenient” at first, until your realize what was actually inconvenient before it was how an app grid was messing with your dopamine levels.

Optional Accessibility Permission Disclosure:
Aurora Launcher can optionally needs Accessibility Service permission to enable the double-tap screen lock feature. Note that this feature is 100% optional, and only for convenience. Why this permission is needed: it allows Aurora to lock your screen while preserving biometric unlock (fingerprint/face unlock). Without this service, locking the screen would force PIN/password entry. How it is used: Only to lock your screen when you double-tap empty space. It uses the system's GLOBAL_ACTION_LOCK_SCREEN capability. What it does NOT do: Does NOT read or access any content on your screen; Does NOT interact with other apps; Does NOT collect or store any data; Does NOT monitor your activity; You can verify this in Settings → Accessibility → Aurora Launcher, where you'll see the service has minimal permissions.
