GateKeeper is a lightweight mobile device management (MDM) Chrome extension focused on enhancing security by disabling camera access on mobile devices within restricted premises. Unlike other camera disabling applications, it does not require server integration, simplifying deployment for businesses.

Visitors scan a Check In QR code near the premise to activate camera restrictions and present the app to security personnel for entry. Upon leaving, users check out by recognizing SoundQR or using GPS location verification. The app requires device administrator permission and uses camera, phone ID, storage, and optionally location and microphone permissions in line with security policies. GateKeeper offers an efficient solution for businesses needing to restrict camera usage without intrusive server setups.
