NavKid Nautical Maps Europe

NavKid Nautical Maps Europe is an Android boat navigation extension offering MarinePlan water charts for major parts of Western Europe and a powerful, easy-to-use route planner. The app works offline for navigation (internet only needed for map updates), displays bridges, locks, harbors, canals and lakes, and supports multiple map styles (ANWB, Google, TomTom, OpenStreetMap, Navionics, satellite). Define boat dimensions and characteristics to avoid surprises, view language-specific place names, and use quick search for ports, fuel, shops and more.

NavKid includes a 7-day free trial for the annual map subscription (EUR 19.50/yr); after the trial the app reverts to a reduced free feature set and subscription is optional. Extras include "friends on the map" location sharing, Chromecast display support, fast map-update feedback to cartographers, GDPR privacy info, and responsive customer support.
