VesselMaintenance Tracker is an offline tool designed for marine engineers and ship operators to log, calculate, and track critical vessel maintenance parameters directly from their mobile devices. Operating completely on-device without remote servers or network reliance, it provides reliable record-keeping for remote marine environments.

Key Features:
- Machinery Asset Registry: Manually register onboard machinery components including category (propulsion, generator, purifier, or auxiliary), location, and model.
- Running Hours Logging: Record engine and component running hours with engineer signatures to maintain up-to-date operating logs.
- Sump Tank Soundings: Log tank sounding measurements in centimeters. The app automatically estimates volume in liters using specific conversion factors and calculates fuel/oil consumption rates between consecutive readings.
- Defect Journal: Log structural and mechanical defects, assign severity levels (critical, high, medium, low), and record resolution notes when issues are addressed.
- Maintenance Checklist: Monitor recurring maintenance schedules based on accumulated machinery running hours, track due or overdue tasks, and mark them as completed.
- Bunker Calculator: Compute fuel bunkering metrics including Volume Correction Factor (VCF) based on ASTM Table 54B approximations, density at observed temperatures, metric tons in vacuum, and weight in air. Features quick presets for Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO), Very Low Sulfur Fuel Oil (VLSFO), Marine Gas Oil (MGO), and Crankcase Lube Oil.
- On-Device Storage: All diagnostic records, hours logs, tank soundings, and defect entries are stored locally on the device (sandbox MMKV store) with zero remote telemetry.
