Features & Capabilities

The Sony Camera Remote Control Chrome extension allows you to easily control the shutter of your Sony camera using any Bluetooth selfie stick controller. By connecting your phone to the selfie stick via Bluetooth and your phone to the camera through WiFi, you can remotely trigger your camera's shutter with a simple button press on the selfie stick.

Compatible with a wide range of Sony camera models including ILCE series, NEX series, DSC series, and more, this extension enables automatic reconnection when "Always Connected" is enabled on the camera. It supports background operation to ensure effortless shooting sessions. Note that the extension has been verified on DSC-RX100M5A and feedback is welcomed to support additional models in the future.
