AQC

AQC (Assembly Quality Control) is the shop-floor app for Acacia Motor Services' bus assembly line. It records what was built, who built it, and whether it passed inspection — at the point where the work happens, rather than on paper collected at the end of a shift.

AQC is a workplace app. Accounts are created and issued by your employer. There is no public sign-up, and the app cannot be used without an account.

FOR ASSEMBLY CREWS
- See the next unit waiting for your stage, or search for a bus by VIN or number
- Open a stage, record the work as you complete it, and submit it for inspection
- Name the crew who worked with you today, including contract staff who are not set up in the system
- Review your own history of completed stages

FOR QUALITY CONTROL
- Work through a queue of stages awaiting inspection
- Approve or reject a stage, with a defect category and a written note
- Photograph a defect and mark it up on the image, so the worker sees exactly what needs fixing
- Record a short video or a voice note when a photo is not enough
- Run the internal check on a completed bus, stage by stage, and send failures back for rework
- Re-inspect reworked stages with the full history of earlier attempts alongside

FOR SUPERVISORS AND MANAGERS
- See the floor at a glance: which buses are where, and which stages are moving
- Track outstanding tasks, and stages assigned to subcontractors
- Review team activity and completed work

WORKS WITHOUT A SIGNAL
An assembly floor is not a good place for mobile coverage. Submissions, photos and voice notes are stored on the device when there is no connection and sent automatically once there is, so work is never lost and never has to be entered twice.

NOTIFICATIONS
AQC tells the right person when something needs attention: a stage sent for inspection, a bus ready for its internal check, or a rejection returned to the worker who submitted it. Every alert is also kept in an inbox inside the app, so nothing is missed if a notification is dismissed.

PRIVACY
AQC contains no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. It requests no location permission, reads no contacts, and collects no device or advertising identifier. The camera and microphone are used only for the photos, videos and voice notes you choose to record, and biometric unlock is handled by your device — AQC never receives your fingerprint or face data.
