User Reviews

Users appreciate the excellent, genuine content and helpful features like downloading and sorting podcasts. However, many report frustrating issues including frequent audio stoppages, crashes, poor background playback support, and inconvenient login processes. The app lacks some standard media player functionalities, impacting overall usability despite its valuable content.

Pros

Excellent and genuine content provided by experienced hosts.
Ability to download and listen to podcasts offline.
App allows sorting and filtering of podcast episodes, enhancing user experience.
App is lightweight without unnecessary features, focusing on core functionality.
Unique features like viewing a Map related to content which is not available in other podcast apps.

Cons

App frequently crashes or stops playing audio unexpectedly, especially when backgrounded or the screen is off.
Playback issues when not connected to Wi-Fi or when headphones are plugged in.
Requires login every time the app is reopened, with no support for password managers, making authentication cumbersome.
App does not keep playing audio reliably in the background; audio stops if the app is put to sleep or screen turns off.
Lack of playback control features such as play status notifications, lock screen display, and playback speed adjustments.

Recent reviews

The content is excellent but the app is buggy. Sometimes crashes in the middle of a podcast. If I download a podcast, I cannot download another one without restarting the app
