Lately the development of science and technology is very fast which causes changes in lifestyle. This lifestyle change also affects college students. In addition, students also have the desire to interact socially with the environment. (Janwar, 2018) as quoted in the UNHAS identity news states that the causes of student laziness are based on several things. Dependence on social media caused by easy access to it on a smartphone. Apart from being a medium of entertainment and social media, smartphones can also be useful for facilitating and speeding up the work or assignments given. In research (Tone, 2018) the background was a sudden change in schedule by the lecturer which caused some students to be unable to attend the course. This is very detrimental to students because it is to fulfill the attendance of the course. This research is also reinforced by research (Rahmawati, 2021) which states that the importance of reminder assistants is needed by smartphone users in managing their schedules so that they are well organized.
