The gameplay in Animal Totem Rise is physics-based. Animals appear from the top of the screen, and the player controls their horizontal positioning by swiping left and right. At the precise moment, the player must release the object to let it drop onto the tower. The more accurate the placement, the more stable the structure becomes.

As the tower grows taller in Animal Totem Rise, maintaining balance becomes increasingly difficult. An uneven placement or an awkward drop can lead to a loss of stability and the collapse of the entire structure, bringing the game to an end.
