Mahjong Frenzy

Mahjong Frenzy** is a Mahjong Solitaire (also known as Shanghai Mahjong) match-and-eliminate puzzle game. The goal is to clear all tiles from a 3D stacked layout by matching identical pairs. The game features 825 levels across 9 chapters, along with daily challenges, leaderboards, and achievement systems.

### Basic Rules

#### 1. Objective
Remove all mahjong tiles from the board by finding and matching two identical tiles within the time limit. When you match a pair, both tiles disappear from the board. Clear all tiles to pass the level.

#### 2. Tile Selection (Movability Rules)
Not all tiles can be clicked at once. A tile is selectable only when:

- No tiles are stacked on top of it — the four positions on the layer above (Z+1 layer) must all be empty.
- At least one side (left or right) is clear — if a tile has adjacent tiles on both its left and right sides, it is blocked and cannot be selected.

- Gray tiles are blocked/covered and cannot be clicked.
- White/bright tiles are free and can be selected.

#### 3. Matching
- Click on a selectable tile to select it (it will be highlighted).
- Click on another identical tile to match and remove the pair.
- If the two selected tiles are not identical, the selection resets.

#### 4. Timer & Scoring
- Each level has a countdown timer. Initial time = number of tiles × 3 seconds.
- There are 3 stars on the progress bar that break as time passes:
- 3 Stars: Remaining time > 50%
- 2 Stars: Remaining time between 25% and 50%
- 1 Star: Remaining time < 25%
- Game Over: Time runs out (0% remaining)
- The last 10 seconds trigger a flashing warning.

#### 5. Shuffle Mechanism
- When no matching pairs are available on the board, the game will auto-shuffle.
- The shuffle keeps movable tiles in place and reassigns tile values (from 1 to 42, paired values).
- The algorithm ensures all tiles can eventually be matched and cleared.

### Game Modes

#### Level Mode (Main Campaign)
- 825 levels organized into 9 chapters.
- Chapters 1-8 each contain 100 levels; Chapter 9 contains 25 levels.
- Levels unlock linearly — you must complete a level to unlock the next one.
- Chapters can be unlocked by watching ads.

#### Daily Challenge
- A random challenge level generated each day.
- Cycles through 600 pre-built challenge maps.

#### Friend Battle
- Compete with friends via the leaderboard.
- Rankings are based on total stars earned.

### Power-ups & Items

| Tip (Hint) | Highlights a matching pair on the board. You start with 5 tips for free. Watch an ad to get more (up to 7 additional tips). |
| Regress (Undo) | Reverses your last elimination move. |
| Time Gift | Claim a free time bonus every 2 minutes. Watch an ad to double the reward. |
