Features & Capabilities

CHAOS;HEAD NOAH is a psychological suspense-style adventure game developed collaboratively by 5pb. and Nitroplus. Set in Shibuya, Tokyo, the story explores mysterious events known as the 'New Generation' Madness through multi-character perspectives. Players can choose from six heroines, each presenting unique mysteries and multiple endings.

This game introduces an innovative 'delusional trigger system' that blends reality and delusion, allowing players to influence the protagonist Takumi's psychological state and alter story outcomes. With over 30 hours of gameplay, full voice acting, and character design by Mutsumi Sasaki, the game promises an immersive experience. Intuitive touch controls and branching storylines based on player choices ensure engaging play on supported Android devices.

User Reviews

Fans adore CHAOS;HEAD NOAH for its quality, but the Android port is unstable. Startups crash with internet errors, and some devices crash after long initial downloads. There is no official English localization, driving demand for fan patches that are unofficial and sometimes unreliable. Patch-based workarounds exist (including display tweaks), but overall players want official English support and a more stable Android experience.

Pros

Highly praised as a top SciADV visual novel with strong storytelling and art
Fans report that English patches/localizations exist, allowing English play

Cons

Frequent startup crashes and 'cannot connect to Internet' errors
No official English localization; strong demand for an English version
Reliance on unofficial patches to run in English; patch availability and reliability vary

Recent reviews

Used to work in the past, but now crashes with a "cannot connect to Internet" error without fail
