User Reviews

Users consistently report that the Madewell Android app is slow, glitchy, and unreliable. Loading issues cause images and product details to fail to display, and navigation is hampered by poor back button functionality. Checkout is problematic with lost orders and promo code issues, leading to frustration and abandoned purchases. Despite these problems, users appreciate the app's clean design, ability to view items by model, and app-exclusive discounts. Overall, the experience is negative due to technical issues overshadowing the app's potential benefits.

Pros

App design is clean and visually appealing, effectively showcasing products.
Ability to view items by model helps users gauge fit and style.

Pages and images load very slowly or fail to load altogether, especially when browsing multiple items.

It keeps telling me to update the app, but there is no where to do that after I uninstalled and reinstalled it....

User experience is awful. The app is glitchy, buttons don't work, and coupons show up and disappear at random. Shop on a laptop if you must. Better yet, just don't shop from madewell. For such a large successful brand, their app is impressively bad.
