Island Reader is a personal ebook reader with text-to-speech. Bring your own books, organize your library, and switch between reading and listening.

YOUR BOOKS, IN ONE PLACE
Import EPUB, TXT, PDF and MOBI files using Android's file picker, sharing from another app, or local Wi-Fi transfer. Organize books into groups and pick up where you left off.

READ YOUR WAY
Adjust font size, spacing and reading backgrounds. Navigate with the table of contents, in-book search and bookmarks. Read imported books offline; PDFs retain their fixed layout.

LISTEN AS YOU READ
Choose available system voices or online AI narration, adjust speech speed, listen in the background and set a sleep timer. Online narration requires an internet connection. System voice availability depends on your device and installed text-to-speech resources.

KEEP WHAT MATTERS
Highlight passages, add notes, save favorite excerpts and revisit your reading. Share selected excerpts as text or images.

I want to like this app but it hasn't been functional for me since last night. It worked fine when I did the 10 minute trial, but it hasn't been working for more than a minute on my Pixel 7 all day.
