Crosslane: Outrun the Dust

The Dry is behind you. It has been for years.

You are a courier on the last open road, running deliveries between towns that
are running out of time. Three lanes. Swipe to change lane, jump the wreckage,
slide under the barriers. Do not look back — it is closer than you think.

SIX REGIONS, SIX VEHICLES
It starts with a bicycle and a bag of post. Cross the wheatbelt and you earn a
motorbike. Then a car, a four-wheel-drive, a racer, and finally something
somebody built in a shed and never finished. Each one is faster than the last —
and wider, and slower to change lanes. Speed is never free.

120 DELIVERIES
Every run is a job for somebody: seed before sundown, vaccines with six hours
of ice, water for a farm with no bore. Twenty stories per region, each with its
own distance to beat.

RUN IT YOUR WAY
Go back and run any region you have finished, on the vehicle it was built for.
Or take Free Run: one road, every vehicle you have earned, no story to finish
and nothing to do but beat your own number. Daily objectives reset every
morning.

A ROAD THAT PLAYS FAIR
The generator physically cannot produce a row you could not get through.
Obstacle spacing scales with your speed, so the game gets harder by asking more
of you, never by cheating. If you crashed, you can see why.

CLIMB THE BOARD
Every run scores on distance plus what you collected along the way. There is a
board for each region, a board for each vehicle, and one for everybody — and no
board ever mixes two roads, so the name at the top of it earned that place on
the same ground you did.
