Yamb (Jamb) Paper makes the game easier by automatically calculating the score.
The application uses standard Yamb (Jamb) rules and supports a large Yamb (10 columns), but players themselves can fill in the columns they choose. The game requires 6 dice, and the player has the right to roll 3 times (except when filling the manual column, then he can only roll once). At each throw, he separates the dice that correspond to him, and throws the remaining ones again. At the end of the third throw, he separates the dice that suit him best (5 at most) and writes their sum in the field.
1. Functionality
By pressing the "Enable Dice" button, the application gets the dice and uses the accompanying logic to play with the dice.
By pressing the "Disable Dice" button, the app removes the dice and uses the accompanying logic to play without dice.
To close the keyboard, it is necessary to click on the field in which it is not possible to enter a number (best in the rectangle below the settings button).
By pressing the "New Party" button, the player can choose:
"Clear all" to start a new game and clear all values from the table.
"Cancel" to return without deleting the values from the table.
If the player has entered an illegal value, it will be deleted and the field will turn red. To make the field white again, you need to enter the correct value in it or just click on the colored field and click anywhere on the side.
If the player wants to change the entry, it is possible to delete the old value and enter a new one, where he will be asked if he wants to replace the number or abandon the replacement.
"Replace number" will replace the old value with the new one.
"Cancel" will abort the change and restore the old value.
When entering the number in the announcement, a sound will be heard (if it is turned on).
2. Direction of filling
The first column is filled from top to bottom.
The second column is called the free column and can be filled with anything
in order.
The third column is filled from bottom to top.
The fourth column ("N") is called the announcement. During the first throw, the player decides whether to announce something, according to the dice obtained. If he decides to announce, he must immediately tell his opponent what he is announcing. He separates those dice from the side and only then can he throw the other dice twice more.
The fifth column ("R") is called the hand column and the sum of the dice obtained on the first roll is entered in it.
The sixth column ("D") is called a notification (logout) and is filled in after the announcement of the opponent.
The seventh column is filled from MAX to the top, that is, from MIN to the bottom.
The eighth column is filled from top to MAX, that is, from bottom to MIN.
The ninth column ("O") is filled in at the very end of the game, from top to bottom.
The tenth column ("M") automatically updates the highest numbers from each row.
3. Method of calculation
The sum of dice with the same numbers is entered in the first 6 rows.
Enter the sum of 5 dice with the highest numbers in the "MAX" field.
In the "MIN" field, enter the sum of 5 dice with the smallest numbers.
Numbers (66/56/46) are entered in the field "KENTA" depending on the attempt from which it was obtained:
66 is entered on the first attempt.
56 is entered on the second attempt.
46 is entered on the third attempt.
Enter the sum of 3 identical dice +30 in the "TRILING" field.
The sum of 2 identical and 3 identical dice +30 is entered in the "FUL" field.
In the "POKER" field, enter the sum of 4 identical dice +40.
The sum of 5 identical dice +50 is entered in the "YAMB" field.
