Beegnostic - diagnose bees

Beegnostic diagnose Apis mellifera bees creating sound and determine their behaviour / physiological state.

App measure these five parameters:
- Bee swarm formation probability;
- Efficiency of bee colony;
- Aggression of bee colony;
- Ventilation of beehive;
- Queen loss.

How to use it, three simple steps:
#1 Insert Microphone, simply insert external omnidirectional microphone into the entrance of beehive and plug it in your Android smartphone (recommended to use microphone amplifier). Wait few minutes for bees to calm down;
#2 Open App, press diagnose button, it will start recording and after that it will start analyzing;
#3 View Results with each parameter detailed information what to do. Moreover you can compare your newest results with previous or save results to database.

In the database you can view all your saved diagnostic results, created apiaries and beehives lists.

The app has external microphone detection, when you plug in, the microphone icon in main screen will change color from grey to yellow.

To get more accurate results we recommend to diagnose bee colony several times in day, making several minutes pauses. We recommend diagnose bees in daytime during spring, summer, autumn, when bees are flying and not when surviving winter.

Do not accept the result as 100% probability. Therefore, measurements must be made several times to obtain more accurate results.
The app data is advisory in nature, so we are not responsible for the loss incurred because of the decisions and actions you have taken.

The app need permission to record audio and read/write storage to work properly.

This app is very useful for beekeepers to reduce time on inspecting bee colonies and helps beginner beekeepers to understand bees.
