Key Features

Panic Mode Button
If you ever feel unsafe, the panic mode is the quickest way to alert people around you. With one tap, it plays a loud beep-beep sound three times to draw attention nearby and sends an instant SMS with your location to your saved emergency contacts. This way, you get both immediate attention and quick support from your trusted people.

Police Contact
Reaching the police should never take time during an emergency. Veerangana gives you direct access to police helpline numbers within the app, so you can contact the authorities without searching or dialing manually.

SOS Button
Some situations call for silence. The SOS button lets you send your live location to your emergency contacts without making any sound. It is a discreet way to get help when you cannot make noise or attract attention.

Voice and Video Recording
If you are in a threatening situation, you can start recording audio or video instantly. These recordings can serve as evidence later and give you more control over handling unsafe situations.

Women Helpline Numbers
The app also includes verified women helpline numbers so that you have reliable options for assistance at any time. Instead of searching online, you get quick access to important numbers all in one place.

Safe Safar (Coming Soon)
Traveling, especially by train, can feel unsafe at times. With Safe Safar, you will be able to add your PNR number and travel details. If something goes wrong, Veerangana will notify nearby users traveling on the same route so they can step in to help. It builds a small community of safety wherever you go.

AI Assistant – Sakhi
Sakhi is your personal AI assistant inside the app and on our website. It shares safety tips, answers quick questions, and guides you on what steps to take if you feel unsafe. Instead of waiting until trouble strikes, Sakhi helps you stay prepared and confident in advance.

Nearby Help Maps
The app comes with a map feature that shows nearby hospitals and police stations within a 5 km range. It helps you know where professional help is located and guides you there quickly when time is critical.

Emergency Contacts
You can add as many trusted contacts as you want. Whether it’s family, friends, or colleagues, they will always be one tap away whenever you need help.
