Women’s Human Rights

The Women’s Human Rights (W’sHR) App, developed by the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and the Swiss Centre of Expertise in Human Rights, is a comprehensive digital resource designed to support UN negotiations and advocacy related to women's human rights. It compiles over 550 documents from UN bodies like the General Assembly, Human Rights Council, ECOSOC, CSW, and CEDAW, delivering key legal instruments and agreed language on critical topics such as abortion, sexual abuse, and digital violence.

With an intuitive interface, the app allows users to search via keywords, bookmark important paragraphs, and take notes for more efficient negotiation and advocacy. Regular updates introduce new themes like women journalists, sports and gender, and cyber harassment, empowering users with strong arguments for advancing gender equality and women’s rights globally.
