In the sutra, it is recorded that Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva told the Buddha: "World-Honored One, I have the Great Compassion Dharani Mantra. Now I would like to speak out because I want all sentient beings to enjoy peace and happiness, stay away from obstacles, eliminate diseases, destroy all serious sins, achieve all good roots, eliminate fear, live a long and healthy life. , rich, full of luck... May the World-Honored One mercifully promise."
