Part of the goodness of trusting in God for any Muslim man or woman is the belief that prosperity and hardship come from Him, Glory be to Him, and resorting to Him in these situations or events, and praying for rain is one of them, as it is considered one of the acts of worship through which Muslims draw closer if they are afflicted by drought or barrenness or lack of water, and the legitimate purpose of it is the rain.
