Sigla: Gesture Shortcuts

Sigla puts every shortcut you use one flick from wherever you already are.

Draw a C and Chrome opens. Draw an M and it is Maps. Or skip the drawing and
tap: a deck of buttons fans out from under your thumb, on top of whatever app
you are in.

DRAW A MARK
Letters, digits and simple shapes — a square, a triangle, a tick, a star, a
heart — are built in. Pair two letters for the apps that need them, so FB is one
gesture rather than two.
It matches the shape, not the angle: a mark drawn at a slight tilt still counts.
Tilt it too far and C and U look alike, so it stops rather than guesses.
What gets saved is your stroke, exactly as you drew it.

A DECK, NOT A LIST
Buttons fan out in a ring around wherever you touched. A solver keeps every
button clear of your thumb, on screen and within reach. For more, Sigla Premium
adds groups: a button that opens a ring of its own.

REACH IT FROM ANYWHERE
A floating button that stays out of the apps you choose and moves above the
keyboard. A Quick Settings tile. Home-screen widgets: a round button, a wider
bar, and one that shows your marks at a glance. An entry in the text-selection
menu. And a lock-screen button with only the torch, camera, sound profiles and
alarms.

NO ACCOUNT, NO ADS
No sign-up, no login, no sync. Your gestures, decks and settings never leave
your phone unless you move them: save a backup to a file you keep, or copy them
across when you set up a new phone from this one.
There are no ads and no analytics. If Sigla crashes, a technical crash report is
sent so it can be fixed; it never contains your gestures or anything on your
screen.

ABOUT PERMISSIONS
The floating button needs permission to draw over other apps, and runs a
foreground service while it is on so the system does not kill it. Turn the
button off and the service stops.
The accessibility service is optional, and Sigla shows you what it does before
you turn it on. It powers screenshots, Back, Home, Recent apps, notifications,
Quick Settings, screen lock and the lock-screen button. It also notices which
app is in front and when the keyboard opens, to hide the button in apps you
choose, open a per-app deck and move above the keyboard. It cannot read your
screen, and nothing it notices is saved or sent. Everything else works without
it.
Brightness and rotation lock ask for their own permission the first time you use
one.

Free Sigla has every action, every way of reaching it and every built-in mark,
with a limit on how many gestures and deck buttons you keep. Sigla Premium
raises both limits, adds groups and gives you a different deck in the apps you
choose. One payment, not a subscription.

MAKE IT LOOK LIKE YOURS
Pick the button's size, shape and colour, the ink's colour and weight, whether
the buttons show icons, words or the mark you would draw, and how faint the
button goes at rest. Choose how the deck opens — pop, sweep or instant — and how
fast.
