🛑 ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE API USAGE
Locked-INN requires the use of the AccessibilityService API to function as a core app blocker.
• Why we use it: We use this API to detect when you attempt to open a restricted app or website during an active focus session, allowing us to block the screen immediately.
• Data privacy: No personal or sensitive data is collected, stored, or shared using the AccessibilityService API. It is strictly used locally on your device to maintain your focus boundaries.

🔐 PRIVACY & ON-DEVICE ARCHITECTURE
Locked-INN includes an optional on-device firewall (VPN service) that blocks network traffic from messaging apps you choose, only during focus sessions. All filtering happens locally on your device. No traffic is sent to any external server, no packet contents are inspected or logged, and the VPN turns off automatically the moment your focus session ends. There is no Locked-INN server in the network path.

Your focus session history, streak data, and goals sync to your private account (powered by Firebase) so you can use Locked-INN across devices. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time from inside the app or by contacting support.
