Features & Capabilities

Take full control of your digital privacy with App Lock. It’s more than a lock—it’s a security suite that lets you lock any app with a PIN, pattern, or fingerprint, automatically identifies apps with sensitive data, and offers one-tap group controls to secure your social, finance, or gaming apps.

Browse privately with an integrated private browser that clears history, cookies, and sessions on exit. Store media and documents in an encrypted vault with easy import and an internal viewer. Intruder defenses include selfie alerts, email notifications, decoy mode, and uninstall protection. Smart unlock on trusted Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth keeps security seamless, offline-capable, with a free ad-supported option and a premium upgrade.

User Reviews

Users generally praise App Lock for strong security and ease of use, but report that recent updates brought intrusive full-screen ads, sometimes loud, and that ads persist despite premium removal promises. The ads reduce usability (e.g., navigation back to previous apps) and have led some users to consider switching to alternative apps.

Pros

Strong security/protection
Easy to use / simple interface
Generally reliable / well-functioning
Positive overall sentiment in many reviews

Cons

Intrusive full-screen ads (often with loud sound)
Ads persist even after premium subscription (ads not removed)
Ads degrade usability (harder to navigate back/perform other actions)
Some users considering switching to alternative apps due to ads and poor experience
