Harvella Garden

A garden runs on dates as much as on weather: the day the radishes went in, the fifty days the carrots still need, the week the beans all came at once. Harvella Garden keeps that calendar for you, bed by bed.

The home page reads like the front of an almanac. The current season and month sit at the top, with the day's tallies underneath — how many plantings are growing, how many are ready to pick, how many harvests the month has given so far. Below that, your beds, each card noting its size, what's in it, and which crop will be first to the table.

Bed by bed
Open a bed and every planting is listed with its sowing date and its own countdown. Rows that are still filling out show a quiet progress bar; the moment a crop's days are up, its card turns marigold and offers to log the pick. One small dialog — weight or pieces — and the planting is marked done, the ledger updated.

The harvest ledger
Every pick lands in one list, newest first, named after its crop and variety. Rename a planting and the ledger follows along. Weights can be read in grams or kilograms, whichever suits the kitchen scale.

The quiet numbers
The stats page totals your harvests, weighs the season, counts the active plantings and names the crop that has fed you most, with a bar chart of the last six months of picking. Not a dashboard — more like the notes a patient gardener keeps in the back pages.

A short guide
Four plain-language notes ship with the app: succession sowing, companion planting, watering and mulching, and reading the frost dates. No jargon, no lectures.

On the matter of your records: the whole almanac is written to your phone's own storage — Harvella has no internet permission, so your beds and harvests can't go anywhere even in theory. No account, either; the app opens straight to the garden.

Season by season, the almanac fills itself in. All you do is sow, water, and write down the picking.
